We're getting Maui'd!

Q&A

What is the dress code?
Tropical cocktail (like the drinks - fun, colorful, and a lil’ bit fancy!)
Feeling dapper? Feel free to sport Aloha shirts or dress shirts. Khakis, slacks, and linen dress pants all work great - please leave the shorts and jeans at home!
Feeling flirty? Dazzle us with cocktail dresses, separates, or jumpsuits! We invite you to go big and bold on colors/patterns, but keep the fabrics light since Maui may be humid!
Can we bring our children?
While we love your little ones, we are limiting children at the wedding to immediate family members only. However, we will have on-site child care available if you'd like to bring your kids. Just let us know so we can arrange for enough care.
How long should we plan to spend in Maui?
We're planning three events: a welcome reception on Thursday evening, the wedding on Friday, and a beach day on Saturday. If your schedule allows, we recommend spending a week on the island to give you time to romp around and explore!
Where should we stay?
Our wedding is in Kihei where there are a number of Airbnbs, VRBOs, and hotels available to book. Additionally, we are planning to arrange a room block at a hotel near the venue. More information to come!
Where are you registered for gifts?
No gifts please! Your presence with us in Hawaii is more than enough.

Eats & Activities

Map of recommended eats and activities
Eat
Kihei Caffe

Delicious counter-serve cafe & patio is a local go-to for breakfast deals including omelets & cinnamon rolls.

Maui Brewing Co.

Brewery dining in the heart of paradise that offers expansive outdoor garden seating, an open-air interior, and family-friendly vibe.

Nalu's South Shore Grill

Open-air eatery with seasonal, locally sourced Hawaiian recipes, plus occasional live music. A great option for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Kihei Food Oasis

Kihei Food Oasis is home to 14 diverse food trucks. (Psst - this spot is located on the same property as our wedding venue!)

Monkeypod Kitchen

Farm-to-table eatery & bar for Hawaiian food, beer & cocktails, served in a beautiful space.

Gather on Maui

Upscale spot for Hawaiian regional fare served in an open-air setting with sweeping island views.

Do
Splashing & sunbathing

For first-rate splashing and sunbathing, we recommend visiting Charley Young Beach, Kama’ole Beach Park, Keawakapu Beach, Polo Beach, and Makena Beach.

Snorkeling

For great snorkeling, we recommend visiting Keawakapu Beach, Ulua Beach, Makena Landing Park, and Ahihi Cove (the latter two are not sandy beaches, but awesome for snorkeling). Need equipment? Check out Boss Frog’s for snorkels, boogie boards, and more!

Boogie Boarding

Interested in riding some waves? Check out Kama’ole Beach Park, Polo Beach, Big Beach, and Slaughterhouse Beach (as the name suggests, the waves here are not for the faint of heart!).

Hiking

Maui is lousy with beautiful hiking trails. We especially loved the 4.2 mile Waihe'e Ridge Trail the first time we visited Maui together!

Hula Show

In addition to classic luaus available throughout the island, you might also consider checking out the South Maui Gardens' Hula Show for an authentic experience of Polynesian dance. (Psst - this is also our wedding venue!)

Maui Ocean Center

If you prefer to stay dry whilst looking at ocean critters, visit the Maui Ocean Center just north of Kihei!

No gifts, please!
